Frequently Asked QuestionsBelow find a list of Frequently Asked Questions for Students and Parents here at Kennedy Middle School:

  • What time does school start?
    • Homeroom bell rings at 7:50am. Students arriving in homeroom and the building after 7:50am are considered tardy.
  • My child will be absent from school. Who do I need to inform?
    • When your student is absent from school, please call the Absent/Tardy line at 508-647-6651 each day your child will be absent. You can also email the Kennedy Nurses (KennedyNurses@natickps.org) and Mrs. Lederman in the office (ELederman@natickps.org). If your child will be out for an extended period of time (ie: Travel), please bring a signed letter to the office with details of dates.
  • How do I dismiss my child from school?
    • If your child has a planned dismissal, please send them to school with a signed note indicating the time and date of the dismissal. We will have your child waiting for you in the lobby of the building, and they will be able to walk out to you upon your arrival.  Having the note ahead of time allows for minimal classroom interruption. Please note: Students are not allowed to walk home during the middle of the school day. They must be picked up by an approved parent or guardian.
